We want to create more change, and continue to raise the numbers of female participants in long distance races and running as a whole, and Lisbon full and half marathons are our next targets! It doesn’t matter what level your running ability is, whether you’re new to long distance, or have a few marathons under your belt, everyone’s invited. Our aim, as with every project, is to encourage more ladies to get involved, to feel empowered through movement and to aim higher – together.
Both the half and full routes are point to point races, finishing up in the centre of Lisbon and avoiding the hills of the city. Entries currently range from €35 for the half and €65 for the full and you can find more about the events as well as signing up here. Expert coaches Rachel and Tom Payn from Run Namaste Eat will be guiding us through our training journey. Their training plans will be catered to both distances and all abilities!
